Obtaining a Dismissal or Reduced Charge
I will carefully review the accusatory instruments, police reports and other evidence in your case. I will then provide an honest assessment of your situation. Whenever possible, I will seek to obtain a dismissal of the charge if the allegations are unclear or do not support the facts in the complaint. It may also be possible to reduce the potential consequences of the event by negotiating a plea agreement to a lesser charge.

Avoiding Conviction and a Criminal Record
In cases involving misdemeanor charges, it is often possible to avoid a conviction and a criminal record. I have been successful in obtaining an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal (ACD) in many cases. An ACD results in a dismissal of the charge and clean record if there are no previous convictions, provided you do not get into legal trouble again within six months. ACD is not available in every case.
